We’re thrilled to announce that San Taekwondo is one of three clubs in Australia nominated for the 2023 Community Club of the Year Award. 

This award recognises a club that has enthusiastically worked to connect more people to Taekwondo and positively promotes social inclusion.

Our classes teach traditional Taekwondo and are a great form of exercise, but we love the club’s positive effect on the community. 

We believe a few fundamental principles have helped us get nominated for this award:

Promoting Inclusion:

Discrimination has no place in our club. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We believe everyone should be able to train and have worked diligently to make Taekwondo accessible to people of all abilities, ages, and backgrounds.

Safety and Support: 

Safety is paramount. We’ve implemented rigorous safety measures to ensure our members’ well-being. Our instructors are not just teachers, but we encourage them to get to know all our students so we can understand their needs and goals. 

This award nomination is a testament to the dedication of our team to spreading the positive impact of Taekwondo throughout our community in Beerwah and Maleny.  In return, we also receive fantastic support from our members, parents, and the broader community.
